Magnolia
Ridge is a structured detox and residential treatment program for
adults 18 and older. Magnolia addresses not only the needs of adults
with a primary alcohol or other drug-dependency, it simultaneously
treats diagnosed co-occurring mental illnesses.
Services
are designed to teach or restore adult dysfunctional alcoholics
or addicts to a client-led appropriate level of functioning. Focus
is on intensive intervention with step-down into other types of
treatment / after-care to provide the best-possible support for
a recovering person.
Therapy includes
individual and family therapy, group therapy, and family group therapy.
Clients identified as having co-occurring disorders receive therapeutic
interventions from skilled co-occurring therapists and nurses.
The services

Magnolia
Ridge offers up to 45 days of structured 24-hour care, with length
of stay evaluated by clinical progress every 7 days.
Licensure, Credentialing
& Recognition
Magnolia Ridge meets the requirements of national accreditation
organizations, is licensed under the Tennessee Department of Health,
and meets other state and local licensing requirements.
Magnolia Ridge exceeds industry standards for client
satisfaction established by the Mental Health Corporation of America
consumer satisfaction survey. Magnolia Ridge also received the 2003
Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations Program of
Excellence Award. Its director received the 2004 Hampton-Perry Award
sponsored by Foundations Associations and the Dual Diagnosis Recovery
Network for the facilities ground-breaking treatment approach.
Magnolia Ridge has been the site of two pilot programs
for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health: to train Alcohol
& Drug Case Managers and a co-occurring or Dual Diagnosis Treatment
Program.
