Admission
Referrals are made by self-referral, family,
hospital, school system, professional peer association, physician,
emergency room, jail, probation/parole officer. Individuals are
evaluated for addiction diagnosis, co-occurring disorders, inability
to overcome addictive lifestyle, and other stressors.
Community Resources & Aftercare
To provide a continuum of care, Magnolia Ridge refers within Frontier
Health for intensive outpatient, outpatient, psychiatric, case management,
individual and/or family therapy, and other services.
Upon discharge, the client receives scheduled appointments
for the next step of continued recovery. Linkage is also available
to accommodate the client’s geographic location to sober housing,
step-houses, other living arrangements, medical & dental programs,
community intensive outpatient and outpatient services. Clients
receive information about vocational rehabilitation, educational
assistance, Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous, community programs,
and weekly aftercare meetings.

Ridge Levels of Care
Magnolia Ridge offers five levels of treatment based on American
Society of Addiction Medicine placement criteria.
• Level III.
7-D: Medically Managed Inpatient Detoxification in a 24-hour service
of medically supervised withdrawal utilizing physician and nursing
services. Arrangements for medical consultation for biomedical or
behavioral problems is available as needed by direct service or
by affiliation with other resources 24 hours a day.
• Level III. 2-D: Clinically-Managed Residential Detoxification.
This level of care fits the needs of clients who do not need the
intensity of a higher level of detoxification.
• Level III. 7: Medically Monitored Intensive Inpatient
Treatment is a 24-hour structured program that focuses on management
of withdrawal from specific drug(s) of abuse. Clients in this level
of treatment are assessed as unable to recover in their home environments
and are in need of an intensive, structured and therapeutically
controlled setting.
• Level III. 5: Clinically Managed Medium High-Intensity
Residential Treatment is a 24-hour therapeutic recovery program.
This level of care is usually longer term than other levels of treatment.
Emphasis is on the development of social and personal growth.
• Level III. 3: Clinically-Managed Medium Intensity
Residential Services is a 24-hour program that provides a structured
recovery environment. Clients in this level of care are focusing
on interpersonal and group living skills.
Specialty
Services
• Co-Occurring Diagnosis: Every client who enters treatment
receives an evaluation for both substance abuse and a co-occurring
mental illness. Clients who have both conditions, receive specialized
goals that deal with and focus on putting both diagnosis into a
recovery mode during treatment.
• Women’s Services: women’s issues are
discussed in a women's only group; therapy goals may be set related
to this.
• Individual Treatment Clients length of stay is based
on progress of individual goals and treatment objectives.
• Family Treatment may be requested during family group.
Families may choose to see a therapist with our without the client
present. Referral resources for family members are available.
• Progress is measured daily by staff. Clients have
the opportunity for input. Areas may include, but are not limited
to, addictive response, behavior, cognition, and emotional changes
• Hope for Tennessee provides education on communicable
diseases and offers referral for testing.
• Social Work Services: clients begin working on their
aftercare plan from the week they begin treatment. Referrals for
continued treatment, housing, sober house, and medication are a
small part of what is offered.
• Twelve Step Meetings: clients are introduced to the
twelve steps and twelve step meetings.
• Speaker and H&I groups are held to benefit the
clients.
