KINGSPORT, Tenn. — Frontier Health announced today that its new Children’s Midland Walk-In Center in Kingsport will officially open Dec. 1 at 2 p.m., offering expanded access to timely mental health and substance use services for children and youth in the region
The center will operate Monday through Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and will be closed on Frontier Health holidays.
The Children’s Midland Walk-In Center is designed to support individuals experiencing a non-medical psychiatric emergency, emotional distress or challenges related to alcohol or substance use. The center also provides services for youth with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, ensuring families can receive compassionate, same-day care close to home.
