BIG STONE GAP-The Arc of LENOWISCO annual picnic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2016, at Bullitt Park. There will be lots of food and fun for everyone. The Arc of LENOWISCO is a regional organization formed to provide support, advocacy, education and community awareness for individuals with disabilities and special needs, their families, and other people involved in their care. TheArc of LENOWISCO is affiliated with The Arc of Virginia and The Arc of the United States.
A primary objective is to be heard by legislators about the need for services in Southwest Virginia. The Arc offers training on topics of interest to the community. The Arc of LENOWISCO meetings are typically held on the third Monday of every third month (September, December, March, and June) at 4 p.m. at Independence House in Big Stone Gap.
