euNoia – A Well Mind Concert Headliner Announcement

May 13, 2022 | News

The Frontier Health Foundation invites the communities of Northeast TN and Southwest VA to be a part of our 2nd Annual euNoia Concert Event this August 13th, 2022! euNoia means “A Well Mind,” which is what this concert event delivers. Our annual benefit concert focuses on bringing incredible music and great food, and fun for everyone to the outdoor Cumberland Square Park in Historic Downtown Bristol, VA. This beautiful venue includes the four acres of park with a beautiful Veterans Memorial, tree-lined pathways, and a stunning large covered stage.

In addition, this year, we will be adding a new FREE event called euNoia 4 Kids. The children’s event aims to promote children’s mental health and well-being in our region. Through the theme of music and partnership with many community organizations, it will offer a variety of children’s activities, including games, crafts, and much more! We are also partnering with the Scars Foundation to bring the Grace Notes Project to life for the families at the event. The Grace Notes Project uses music to help children and families to see the connection to and expression of emotions through music. The children’s event is free to all children and their families. It will take place before the euNoia Benefit concert.

We are excited to share that the winner of the 11th season of Fox’s American Idol, singer Phillip Phillips will join us for this year’s euNoia A Well Mind Concert as our Headliner! His coronation song, “Home,” became the best-selling song in American Idol history and the theme song for the 2012 Olympic Women’s gymnastics team. It was also included in the Clint Eastwood movie, Trouble with the Curve. Released in the fall of 2012, Phillips’s first full-length album, “The World from the Side of the Moon,” debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 and quickly went platinum. The album included the single “Gone, Gone, Gone.” He followed up with “Behind the Light” in early 2014 with the lead single “Raging Fire.” Phillip’s then went on a worldwide tour and co-headlining run with Matt Nathanson in 2016. For his third and most recent album, “Collateral,” the Georgia-bred singer/songwriter channels several years of personal upheaval into his most penetrating and robust selection of songs so far. Phillips has also toured with John Mayer, shared the stage with The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen, at the Rock in Rio festival, and supported the Goo Goo Dolls’ summer 2017 national summer tour. In the United States, Phillips has sold 7.5 million digital singles and has sold 2.7 million albums. In addition, he has over 600 million streams on Spotify and 1.2 billion streams on Pandora.

I always love a good pop-rock album. When searching for new music, I’m always trying to find something that grabs my attention. That was the case with Phillip Phillips’s new album collateral. It’s a fun and enjoyable pop-rock album with the influences of some of the greats from the Pop and Rock world.– Stuart Irvin, WPGM

Bringing her New York City vibes with the rich tones of Contemporary Country Music, CMA Artist & Grammy Recording Academy Member Lauren Davidson takes the Cumberland Stage as special guest for Phillip Phillips at this year’s euNoia A Well Mind Concert! She has made countless radio appearances and played shows with Old Dominion, Carly Pearce, Russell Dickerson, Maddie & Tae, Michael Ray, and Country Music Legend Willie Nelson. She also performed at the creme of New York venues, Madison Square Garden, as part of PBR’s Sold Out “Unleash the Beast” tour.

Davidson is not afraid to be raw and vulnerable in “A Little Love.” Her vocals are crisp and crystalline, and she commands the listener’s attention the entire time. The song is very relatable, especially to anybody who has been through a failing romance. Davidson consistently proves that she is one of modern country music’s most underrated female recording artists.-Markos Papadatos, Digital Journal

Your ticket purchase will make it possible for us to reach our goal of $200,000 to support Frontier Health’s children and family services in our area! So many children and families have been affected by the trauma of abuse, neglect, poverty, the pandemic, and substance abuse and need mental health support. We are renovating our newly purchased facility to bring needed mental health outpatient services to Bristol, TN/VA. The money we raise from euNoia will directly support our renovations for this new facility that will bring a “one-stop” approach to serving individuals. Additionally, this facility will have added children and youth programs to assist with the need we see within our community. We cannot wait to bring our communities together again to celebrate, have fun, and support Frontier’s programs and services. Join us and help sell out our event! See you in August!
